TugFest Georgian Bay 2011returns to the the town dock in Parry Sound, Ontario on Friday August 26 to Sunday August 28, after being away for three years in Penetanguishene, Midland and Owen Sound. TugFest will bring fun and spectacles, for the whole family, to the waterfront.

TugFest will feature more than 23 historical and distinctive work boats supporting the Parry Sound Canandian Power and Sail Squadron's 50th anniversary.

The festival offers both residents and tourists a full list of activities including a parade of lights, pancake breakfast, tug parade, tug run and event dinner and attracts thousands of visitors.    

TugFest has proven to be is one of the matchless events on Georgian Bay in that it brings together a growing number of historic and distinctive vessels, some of which are truly Georgian Bay unique.  It combines the fervor of tugboat enthusiasts, the beauty of traditional and historic work boats with a popular venue for visitors and tourists to view and enjoy the popular spectacle.
